This is an important announcement - Crochet Sock Preview

I am hooking my little heart out!  Crocheting my socks off!  I am desperate to have a  triumphant 'Ta - Dah!' moment 'Like this one here' or ' here' .  I was inspired by Tickety Boo's delight in her 'Socky Wocky Do Dahs', (Even maybe a bit jealous of her wonderful creations.)  I am hoping to have a pair of beauties completed within the next day or two.  I have an awful feeling it may not go to plan, I will admit to feeling a little bit doubtful but I am going to carry on with this pattern in blind faith it will work out.  I know that you too are looking at the photograph and thinking it looks unlikely!  I also know you will all be there to share the congratulations or commiserations.  The wonderful thing about Blogland is you'll never walk alone!  I am so determined that these socks are going to be great I will wear them even if they cut off my circulation and give me blisters.

  4. Tickety boo - tut tut oh ye of little faith too, what do you mean if they don't work out! My Sockie Wockies are going to work out! I do hold you responsible! Ears for Daddy's hat would be hilarious though, you did make me laugh.

  5. I trust that you will make that unlikely object into just what you want. I have never heard of "sockie wockies", but I have now! I hope you can wear them happily. I knitted a pair of socks and cannot wear them as my sensitive feet feel every single stitch like I'm walking on a pebbly beach. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  6. I do trust that there is going to come out a sock! But am curious just about how it will come out :-) looks interesting and worth a try, as I always like to know new ways to create a sock.

I appreciate and enjoy reading all of the feedback from your comments. Thank you for taking the time to stop by and sharing your thoughts. Sadly I have found it necessary to enable word verification, something I was trying to avoid...but I am receiving an unmanageable deluge of Spam! We don't want that do we? xxx :)
