I don't know who is more surprised me or the Geezer in the picture! I 'Googled' 23lb, which is my total weight loss for the last 11 weeks. This is a 23lb fish! Blimey I wonder where I have been hiding that? I suspect in my bra! I have about four or five more large fish to lose! I was spurred on to get my 'running' shoes on again today and trot off doing my thang! The dog came with me and she thought it was jolly good fun in the rain. Hopefully we will be swimming again tomorrow and I may even pick up my crochet hook in a short while! Just a quick post tonight to share my 'Fishy profundity'!

Edit: My Maths is rubbish I have about 2 1/2 large fish to lose three at the most! I wondered where all them fish would come from...there would not be much of me left!!! LOL

Yeah, well done Lucy! Great achievement, what a whopper.
ReplyDeleteI've made my target too 14lbs in 6 weeks, now the harder task (for me) is keeping it off!

What a fabulous visual image!
ReplyDeleteLucy, you are the best!
ReplyDeleteHahaha - seeing the preview I thought that might have been someone you knew who literally "lost" his fish... Oh dear.

Well done Lucy you're doing super well, and you're not doing some silly fad diet either - good old healthy exercise and eating :-) Keep is updated! xx
That's fantastic, well done! I've lost 19lb but it's taken me 4 months so you've done really well ... It's hard work isn't t? We'll have to swap ww tips! Have a lovely weekend, Claire xxx
ReplyDeleteWell done, Lucy! Your funny fishy comparison prompted me to LOL as you intended it to , I'm sure :)
ReplyDeleteGracie <3
Well done! That's amazing anyway, but especially when you look at it like that!
ReplyDeleteI too thought you had really lost a fish as I was reading today that people's pond fish are being stolen to be sold on!!!
I took my Mum's dog for a run last night and he certainly "upped" my pace!

I'm sure you feel so much better with that fish gone! I know I could afford to lose a fish or two...Your success is very inspiring :) I'm sure your Lacey is enjoying the extra walking/jogging/running time outside. Keep up the wonderful work! Are your shoes fitting any better now that they've been worn in a bit?

Congrats on the fish loss! You are definitely an inspiration! I walked like a demon all over Washington DC for 9 days and do you think I lost even one pound? NO! I'm demoralized.. but I can at least live vicariously through you. Lose a fish for me, ok? ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I hope you are beginning to feel the benefits of losing a fish. That really is some good going for 11 weeks.
ReplyDeleteWell done. Thanks for the laugh on this wet and horrible day.
ReplyDeleteCrikey, there's nothing worse than fish hanging around in your bra! Well done on your weight loss and I hope you lose some more creatures soon x x
ReplyDeleteWow, well done. I've started WeightWatchers this week and hoping to lose about double that eventually. Love the idea of googline your weight loss!
ReplyDeleteNever mind the fish -- just think how delish you will feel!
ReplyDeleteLol that did make me laugh about the lost fish! Seriously though well done that is really brilliant, you are doing amazing! And I am really impressed at the running. Last summer I used to go for a 'fast' walk with two girls from work at lunchtime - two talls girls with lot longer legs than me, I was forever lagging behind! We must get ourselves motivated and start going again - hopefully now that I've lost a lot of weight I'll be skipping along calling on them to hurry up lol! Love Joanna xx
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Lucy!! Well done on the loss of a fish! :)
