ReplyDeleteFancy never having visited Yorkshire! Then again I haven't visited that many other counties. Yorkshire Day has been fomally celebrated on 1st August since 1975. Biggest event is a parade in a different town or city each yesr. I organised the 1994 one. We like blowing our own trumpet(s)!
If you want any ox-eye daisies let me know, they spread pretty quickly and are tough as old boots!

ReplyDeleteWe're going into the hottest month of the year and its really cloudy and stormy out there. Hot yes but can't see the sun. Its a do as little as possible day!
