The 30 Day Shred - Jillian Michaels

After my holiday indulgence, I felt like I was in danger of quitting my Weight loss regime.  I could not make my Weigh in meeting this week but I did drag myself to a different meeting to get weighed and face the truth. I was ready to have a cry in the car afterwards.  Ha!  1lb off!  What a shocker.  Proof that Fish and Chips and Cream Teas are good for you!  My total weight loss is now 24.5lbs.  I had a pound that really liked me and kept coming back for a few weeks!  As I am on my Summer hols there is no excuse not to exercise.  I have been starting my day with this woman, Jillian Michaels.  I am trying 'The 30 Day Shred'.  I really am the most unlikely 'shredder'.
This Jillian woman really likes her 'Jumping Jacks'!  There is nothing like a million 'Jumping Jacks' to wake you up in the morning.  Thanks Jillian for your fantastic service to mankind!  Your a doll!
I have not been 'running' as it hurts!  I may try again though as I have purchased some very attractive knee supports from The Pound Shop.  They get me through the 'Jumping Jacks'.   I have also been trying hard to eat sensibly.  I am really enjoying the seasonal Summer fruits nectarines, peaches, strawberries and my favourites cherries, you must try fresh cherries stirred into your porridge, but do remove the stones first!
I have also been trying to get to the park with Euan or to walk the dog.  Euan and I watched some Youtube videos of 'Frisbee' champions and now I have delusions of grandeur (again).   I asked Euan if he enjoyed our game of 'Frisbee' in the meadows the other night and he replied in his comical, dulcet tone : "Not really, but if it makes you happy I will do it again!"  I thought that was a funny role reversal.  I do have to remind myself who is the kid and who is the adult!  Does anyone else find that being 'on Holiday' is actually more exhausting than not being 'on holiday'?  I seem to be busier than ever.  xxx
